Who We Are

We’re here to build a network the UK can count on – one that connects people, places and potential. Because no matter where you live, what your background is, or how you get online – we think everyone deserves the same chance to stay connected, and with VodafoneThree, that future’s being built – today.

We’re creating more than the UK’s best network. We’re helping close the digital divide, empower communities and drive meaningful progress.

We believe that everyone should feel they belong. Whoever you are and whatever your story, there’s space for you here. We’re building a workplace where different perspectives are welcomed, voices are heard, and everyone feels safe to show up as themselves.

You’ll join a team that genuinely cares – about each other, about our customers, and about the future we’re building. From day one, you’ll be welcomed, valued and encouraged to bring your whole self to work.

Why VodafoneThree

Join us and you’ll be at the heart of change. That means building responsibly, investing sustainably and creating opportunities that last.

We’re not just expanding connectivity; we’re reimagining what a connected nation looks like. With £11bn invested in 5G and digital infrastructure, your work will directly power businesses, services, and communities across the country.

You’ll work on real challenges, with real impact, across every corner of the country. Wherever you join us, whatever your role, you’ll be helping to build a future that works better for everyone.

We move at pace, because what we’re building matters – and we’re learning as we go. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we’re just getting started.

*Hybrid

We believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.

Job Description

Generation is Three’s award winning in-house creative agency. Set up four years ago, it has gone from strength to strength, earning the trust of the business and gaining recognition from both internal teams and the wider creative industry.

We’re now looking for a senior leader to head up our Account Management team. You’ll be leading a brilliant group, spanning a wide range of skills and disciplines. This is a key role in the agency, bringing clarity, structure and momentum to how we work, while making sure the team is connected, collaborative, and consistently delivering creative excellence.

Generation works across an incredibly broad remit. From thought provoking campaigns like reviving the legacy of Lily Parr, the greatest footballer you’ve never heard of, to immersive retail experiences, standout in-store activations, our high profile Chelsea FC partnership, and a presence at some of the UK’s biggest festivals. We deliver everything from TV and OOH to fast paced performance and responsive social. It’s a high volume, high impact environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll help shape and implement processes that support great creative, delivered on time, on brief and on budget. You’ll bring a calm, solutions-focused approach that helps the team connect the dots, avoiding siloes. You’ll be a key link between internal marketing stakeholders and the creative teams, ensuring relationships stay strong and the work keeps moving forward.

This is a role for someone collaborative, pragmatic and ego-free. Someone who leads by example, brings people together, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Over time, Generation has earned the trust of the business. As a result, we’ve taken on more and more of Three’s most important and visible briefs. Continuing to deliver at that level, and helping the team do their best work, will be central to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of Account Managers. Account Management is now a central part of the IHA structure, and demand for the team’s expertise continues to grow. This is a key leadership role—bringing clarity, structure, and purpose to how we manage projects and collaborate across the agency.
  • You’ll be a highly organised and experienced people leader—someone the team turns to for guidance on ways of working, best practice, and how to respond to a brief. You’ll create an environment where the team can thrive, where expectations are clear, and where delivery is consistently excellent.
  • You’ll also bring the gravitas and emotional intelligence to navigate senior conversations, lead others through change, and hold the team accountable. Just as importantly, you’ll help make Account Management a team people want to be part of—and proud to work with.
  • Agency Resourcing and Planning. Prioritising workflow across the agency is a critical part of this role. You’ll work closely with the Operations Lead to ensure Generation is resourced to meet the demands of high-priority briefs—without compromising on quality or stretching the team too thin.  You’ll evaluate briefs alongside the wider client leadership team, ensuring every project is scoped accurately and the agency has the time and space it needs across all functions to deliver creative excellence. This will require a mix of diplomacy, strategic thinking, and a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver great work.  You’ll champion and uphold agency processes—ensuring they’re followed by all team members without adding unnecessary time or complexity. And, because every agency needs to stay agile, you’ll always be planning for the unexpected building in flexibility to handle reactive work without disrupting the flow.
  • Assume commercial responsibility for project delivery. Take commercial responsibility for project delivery. Stay close to how we’re tracking against time and budget, and make sure the spend matches the scale and ambition of the work. As an in-house agency, Generation must consistently prove the value it brings to the business — so commercial awareness is just as important as creative impact. Keep a clear view of what’s in and out of scope, and flag any potential overspend before it happens. Look for smarter, more efficient ways of working, and help the team deliver work that’s both effective and accountable.
  • Supporting Through Change. As Three continues to evolve, leading the team through change with empathy and transparency will be essential. You’ll help the team stay focused on what’s possible and highlight opportunities.  You’ll create space for growth through additional training, exposure to senior leadership via skip-levels, and open conversations that build trust. And you’ll make sure to celebrate the wins—big or small—helping the team feel valued, supported, and motivated through every phase of change.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading Account Management teams in a creative or agency environment.
  • A strong track record of delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns across brand, retail, social, and performance.
  • Sharp commercial instincts and confidence in managing budgets, scopes, and timelines.
  • A collaborative approach—able to take big ideas forward and bring creative, production, and stakeholder teams with you.
  • A deep understanding of the creative and design process, and a solid grasp of how work moves through production.
  • The ability to take, challenge, and interpret creative briefs clearly and constructively.
  • Confidence reading media schedules and translating them into workable plans for creative delivery.
